Practicing the Paramitas:
What do the transcendent qualities of generosity, patience and discipline have to do with our Dzogchen practice?
"After first having understood well their basic principles, we should put them into practice in order to integrate their fundamental sense within ourselves." -Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, Chapter 4, §6 of The Precious Vase
This retreat will explore the relationship between Mahayana and Dzogchen views and methods. In particular, we will investigate the usefulness of Paramita Practices to the Dzogchen teachings of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu.
This will be a very 'hands-on' intensive, with discussion around personal experiences, interactive exercises, and Santi Maha Sangha Base practices related to Training in Bodhicitta in Action.
