719 Barnes Road Shelburne Falls, MA (In the forest in Ashfield, ca. 1 mile from the Vajra Hall) Tel. 413-625-2009 Email us at: marie@mariestellabeaverlodge.com

Beaver Lodge was built in 2009 by Khandroling neighbor Marie Stella as a home and environmental learning center. Located on ten acres of woodland and featuring organic sustainable landscaping and rain gardens, the passive solar timber frame Beaver Lodge project earned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) platinum certification. You can read about this lovely lodge with its many green features on the web site below. Walking distance to Khandroling is approximately 1 mile. The lodge can accommodate one to twelve people. The first floor, with a private entrance from a deck overlooking a pond, offers two bedrooms, a living room, a butler's pantry/kitchenette, and a full bathroom. The second floor features four bedrooms and a full bath. Some rooms are walk-through to other rooms; privacy is not necessarily complete. But the lodge is large, with space for solitude inside and out. We are unable to accommodate pets due to our cat, Miss Houdini.

The cost is $50.00 per person/per night, self catering. Please pay with a credit card via the “Pay Now” Paypal button at the top of the home page.

My 1880s farmhouse is set on a south-facing hill amidst fields bordered by woodlands, uncluttered views in every direction, and ever-changing skyscapes. I am an artist who found and restored this magical and soulful farmhouse years ago, and it is a pleasure to offer hospitality to friends of the Tsegyalgar community.

It is located 4 miles from Ashfield Center, 10 miles from Tsegyalgar, Conway, and 10 miles from Mohawk School, Shelburne Falls.

The environment, inside the house and outdoors, is ideal for artists, writers, musicians, and folks who are looking for a peaceful, timeless setting that refreshes and inspires the inner muse.

The house has large windows, two 1st floor guest rooms, a parlor with fireplace, a sitting room with woodstove, a large kitchen & dining room, a spacious wrap-around porch, and inviting outdoor areas. Please enjoy these rooms and outdoor areas. Bring your favorite groceries and make use of the kitchen to store and prepare your meals and snacks.

~Although I am a lover of animals, I am unable to accommodate pets.

~There is a 'no smoking' policy on the property.

Guestrooms, discounted for Tsegyalgar community, are each $75 a night - single or double occupancy - $425 for six nights; $775 for 11 nights. To reserve a room, mail 50% of payment to my address above.

The Sage Room, adjacent to the sitting room, is a corner room with two windows, a vintage double four-poster bed, clothes closet and bureau, vintage writing desk, private tiled bathroom with tub/shower.
