The Vajra Hall & The Universal Mandala

On the summit of Khandroling, land of the Dakinis, an open air dance pavilion shelters a Universal Mandala, its roof crowned with a golden Longsal symbol. The Vajra Hall preserves and commemorates the site where Choegyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche received the Terma of Goma Devi, and where he first taught the beginning positions and movements for the Dance of the Song of the Vajra to his students. As the seat of Goma Devi, this place is especially meaningful for all dancers of the Song of the Vajra and practitioners of Jhanadakini, Goma Devi and Mandarava.
