Live Audio Broadcast from Merigar

The Shang-Shung Institute in America [SSIA] is pleased to inform the
International Dzogchen Community [IDC] that arrangements have been made to webcast
Chogyal Namkhai Norbu's teachings from Merigar, Italy on
Thursday, August 14th, 4:00-6:00 A.M, Eastern Standard Time
The webcast - a live broadcast on the Internet - is scheduled at
10:00 a.m. sharp local time at Merigar, and will have an approximate
duration of two hours. Please refer to the time table below to
determine your specific starting local time.
Members of the Dzogchen Community are invited to circulate to other
practitioners information about this webcast event, especially to those
that do not have access to e-mail. The Gars are requested to use their
communication network to spread this information to the local Gakyils;
the Gakyils are requested to activate their telephone trees to inform
everybody.
Please follow the technical instructions reported below to access the
webcast. People that are unable to listen to the live event are advised
to read the instructions below on how to listen to the archived audio
stream.

Archived Audio Stream
After the webcast has finished, the audio stream will stay archived
at RealImpact's servers until (at least) June 1, 2003. The audio
stream will start being available a few hours after the end of the
teachings.
This will enable you to listen to the webcast teachings at a later
stage if you cannot listen during the time of the live event. You can
connect to the archived audio stream using the same connection web
pages that are used for the live webcast event (see below).
Technical Instructions
This Web Cast will be in RealAudio format (sound only) using the
reliable services of the professional provider that supplied us with
excellent service in the past.
Access to the webcast is possible from any personal computer with an
Internet connection and a sound card by using the RealPlayer 8 program
available for Windows, Mac and UNIX platforms. A free version of
RealPlayer 8 is downloadable for free at the RealAudio website:
